History:

Tazz enjoyed major success from 1993–1999 in ECW, wrestling under the name Taz. He built up an incredible reputation, showcasing technical mat maneuvers combined with submission holds and a wide range of suplexes that led him to be dubbed "the human suplex machine." His feud with Sabu, whom he defeated at the first televised ECW Pay-per-view—"Barely Legal"—in 1997, is considered by many to be among the best of the 1990s, He went on to defeat wrestlers such as Bam Bam Bigelow, Rob Van Dam, Lance Storm, Jerry Lynn and Mikey Whipwreck.

At a Ft. Lauderdale, Florida ECW show in 1995, in tag team match pitting him and Eddie Guerrero against 2 Cold Scorpio and Dean Malenko, The Tazmaniac, as he was know then, was the victim of a spike piledriver gone wrong. As Senerca explains it, he landed on his forehead and the impact forced his head backwards sharply. He stayed on the apron for the remainder of the match, but was noticeably seriously injured and could not continue. Tommy Dreamer accompanied Tazz to the hospital after the show. The doctors had a hard time believing that Senerca had walked into the hospital because, he had, in fact, broken his neck. Tazz was out for over nine months, and when he returned, the gimmicky Tazmaniac character had been replaced by Taz. He went on to become one of ECW's most popular stars.

Tazz defeated Shane Douglas in three minutes to claim the ECW World Television Championship at Wrestlepalooza '97, and later on introduced his own title belt, the ECW FTW Heavyweight Championship, which he defended against anyone. Tazz once again defeated Shane Douglas to win the ECW World Heavyweight Championship which he held for 9 months, before losing the ECW World Heavyweight title to Mike Awesome in a 3-way dance which also included Masato Tanaka, before heading to the WWF a few weeks later after fulfilling his ECW obligations. At the Anarchy Rulz '99 pay-per-view, in a show of respect and in full view of the fans, ECW owner/promoter Paul Heyman and most of the wrestlers gave the departing Tazz an emotional send-off.

He made an impact in the Williamsville Wrestling Federation by knocking everyone out at the 1999 Armageddon Cruiserweight title match with a frying pan. This signaled that the Human Suplex Machine had signed with the company while going to the WWE.

Tazz made his official WWE debut at the 2000 Royal Rumble as Tazz, and was the first man to defeat Kurt Angle. He had a short feud with The Rock and Kurt Angle before tangling with Big Boss Man. He then entered a 13-man Battle Royal for the WWE Hardcore Championship at WrestleMania 2000 and secured the Title twice; once by pinning Crash and once by pinning Pete Gas but was unable to leave the match as the Hardcore Champion. He won the Title once more by pinning Perry Saturn but shortly lost the Title again to Crash while under the 24/7 rule.

In between that, in January to February 2000 at the Williamsville Wrestling Federation, Tazz won the Hardcore title from John Pipkin, but would lose it a few weeks later to Ryan Maisenbacher. He returned to the WWE after that.
He returned to ECW while under WWE contract and surprised the fans by defeating Mike Awesome (who was under WCW contract) to win the ECW World Heavyweight Title in an ECW ring. Tazz then returned to the WWE and faced Triple H who was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the time in the first-ever one-on-one match between the ECW and WWE World Heavyweight Champions. A month or so later, Tazz was involved in the WWE Intercontinental Championship hunt but was unsuccessful in capturing the Title from Chris Benoit on two occassions and soon sat out due to an arm injury. When he returned, he defeated Al Snow at Fully Loaded 2000 and quickly got himself involved in a feud with Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler. He lost the Pay-Per-View match to Jerry Lawler at SummerSlam 2000 but was able to get his rematch victory over Lawler at Unforgiven 2000 (this was the same time that Raven made his WWF debut).

Tazz returned to the Williamsville fed to regain the Hardcore title from Ricky Leamons, only to lose it a few weeks later to Norman Smiley. It wasn't until February of 2001 that he amazed everyone by winning the Cruiserweight championship.

Tazz occassionally wrestled matches but was focusing more on commentating in 2001 until Paul Heyman reformed ECW within the WWE during the Invasion storyline and Tazz quickly joined and found some success but was still going nowhere.

In August of 2001, Tazz was called to the EIWF. He and Raven were apparently having fun with the wrestlers there: Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, and even Booker T. Eventually, he was attacked by Benoit and was enfuriated enough to defeat him for the European title. However, his loyalty showed as he joined the WWF's invading side with the EIWF's European title. However, he was forced to team with Raven (who was still EIWF) against Kane and Chris Benoit, the winner would be the European champion. He lost to Kane. He didn't care and was then teaching a WWF rookie, Ted, the arts of hardcore wrestling, with help from Christian. In December, Tazz would win the Television title, but lose it to fellow WWF member, and current EIWF European champion, Ashley, in a unification bout. Tazz left afterwards.

It was in 2002 that Tazz was finally able to capture WWE gold again and did so by defeating the Dudley Boyz for the WWF World Tag Team Championship Title with Spike as his partner. Before Tazz retired from the ring, he defeated the late Mr. Perfect.

It was also in 2002 that Tazz returned to the WWF with Christian to win the Hardcore title against Slappy at the Royal Rumble. After that, he would win the title again against Adrian "Willie" Pollock. After losing it again, he broke apart from Christian by costing him his Intercontinental title against Johnny Banks. After this, Tazz was welcomed into the Dragon Circle with Ryu, Test, and Shoes. This led to a six-man tag match for the Television title at Wrestlefest 5: The Dragon Circle w/Shoes as the manager against Christian, the Dark Angel, and Rob Van Dam. Christian won the title by pinning Tazz. The Dark Angel, who was vice president of the WWF at the time, fired the Dragon Circle afterwards, but Shoes and Tazz were able to stay. In April, the Circle was reunited, rebelling against Dark Angel. It worked and Dark Angel was fired from the position. But, Tazz was later released from the company before the hiatus.

Tazz would later sign up with the XWF in July of 2002 as Ted's trainer in the hardcore arts. In October, the XWF would see the same hardcore Tazz from the ECW as he battled Christian and Raven with Ted. Tazz may not have won any titles in the XWF, but he was still a force to be reckoned with. He would join the WWF in 2004 again, but was injured in a hardcore title match against The Undertaker, Green Goblin, and the Big Show.

Tazz is now in the EIWF, the trainer of Ted again.
